A 10-Day Escape Across Eastern Spain

Patricia and her husband recently returned from a 10-day adventure through some of Spain’s most beautiful coastal destinations: Barcelona, the Costa Brava, Mallorca (Sóller and Pollença), Menorca, and Ibiza. Their feedback was glowing from start to finish, and we loved hearing every detail of their trip.

Barcelona & the Costa Brava

The trip began in Barcelona, where Patricia and her husband soaked up the city’s architecture, energy, and food before heading north to explore the dramatic cliffs and hidden coves of the Costa Brava. It was the perfect warm-up for the island-hopping that followed.

Mallorca: Sóller & Pollença

From there, they flew to Mallorca and settled into the historic town of Sóller, surrounded by orange groves and mountains. They stayed at Meem Townhouse, a lovely boutique hotel right in the heart of Sóller’s historic center, which Patricia highly recommends. They also spent time in charming Pollença, enjoying the slower pace and authentic local life of the island’s north.

“It doesn’t make sense to rent a car in Sóller — parking is very difficult. We were much happier getting around without one.”

Menorca & Ibiza

Next came Menorca, quieter and wilder than its neighbors, followed by a final stop in vibrant Ibiza. Every leg of the trip was done by plane, but Patricia shared a great tip for future travelers.

“Going from Mallorca to Menorca, take the ferry instead of flying. It’s only about an hour and it’s so much more convenient.”

Their Overall Experience

Looking back on the whole trip, Patricia described it as full of adventure, breathtaking landscapes, wonderful food, and a genuine feel for local life in this part of Spain. Ten days, six destinations, and memories that will last a lifetime.
